Membership Types

Primary Principal Broker + Primary REALTOR® Office + MLS Member: 

  • Your firm becomes a member of our association when you join.
  • You pay local, state, and national membership dues through LAAR.
  • You also become a member of the LAAR MLS which gives you viewing and listing privileges.

Primary Member + MLS Member: 

  • Your principal broker/firm must be a member before you can join LAAR.
  • You pay local, state, and national membership dues through LAAR.
  • You also become a member of the LAAR MLS which gives you viewing and listing privileges.

Secondary Principal Broker + Secondary REALTOR® Office + MLS Member: 

  • Your firm becomes a member of our association when you join.
  • You pay local membership dues through LAAR.
  • You pay state and national dues through your primary association.
  • You also become a member of the LAAR MLS which gives you viewing and listing privileges.

Secondary Member + MLS Member: 

  • Your principal broker/firm must be a member before you can join LAAR.
  • You pay local membership dues through LAAR.
  • You pay state and national dues through your primary association.
  • You also become a member of the LAAR MLS which gives you viewing and listing privileges.

Appraiser: 

  • Licensed appraiser and receives REALTOR® member benefits and membership types (primary or secondary).

MLS Subscriber Broker + MLS Subscriber Office : 

  • Your firm becomes an MLS member when you join.
  • You are not a member of the association.
  • You are a member of the LAAR MLS, which gives you listing and viewing privileges.

MLS Subscriber: 

  • Your principal broker/firm must be a member before you can join LAAR MLS.
  • You are not a member of the association.
  • You are a member of the LAAR MLS, which gives you listing and viewing privileges.

Supra eKey: The Supra eKey gives you the ability to unlock lockboxes when you are showing homes. If you need an eKey, please check the ekey box when you begin your application.


Fees

The initial cost to join LAAR is prorated based on the month of the join date. After you have established your LAAR membership and paid the initial cost to join, agents will be billed for the reoccurring annual fees and dues. Membership dues are billed each November and due on January 1st of each year.

MLS fees are billed annually. Invoices are emailed the first week of June and are due July 1st. Late fees will be charged if payment not received by July 10th.

Application fees and firm participation fees are not prorated and are one time fees only so long as you stay in good standing with our association.

Membership dues and fees are non-refundable.

Advocacy: RPAC works to protect REALTOR® rights and that of the public

InfoHub & Website: provides our members with a wide variety of information, tools, and support

Training Room: available to members to use for office training or lunch and learn classes

LAAR Café: members can use the café to meet w/clients or work on their paperwork while they are in the area

IDX/RETS: data feed for your websites

MLS Integrations: companies such as RPR, CRS, and Supra

Voting: LAAR members have voting privileges




Application Instructions

Primary or Secondary Broker: You must check the following membership types: Primary or Secondary Broker, Primary or Secondary Office, and MLS Member.

Primary or Secondary REALTOR®: You must check the following membership types: Primary or Secondary REALTOR® and MLS Member.

MLS Subscriber Broker: You must check the following membership types: MLS Subscriber Broker and MLS Subscriber Office.

MLS Subscriber REALTOR®: You must check the following membership types: MLS Subscriber REALTOR®.

Appraiser: Follow the instructions for REALTOR® members.

Supra eKey: If you want an eKey, make sure you check the Supra eKey box.

Broker Signature: Your broker must sign the Broker Signature page before your application will be approved.

** Please note that if you have not made payment and submitted all required items to association staff within 7 days of your application being submitted, your application will be denied and discarded. You will have to reapply if your application has been denied.
